The Bruton Family Tree

 

Welcome to the Bruton Family Tree.

This Bruton family originated in South Gloucestershire, UK. and spread to Bristol, Canada and the USA.

There are many variations of the name Bruton. The first recorded, Auvrai de Breton, was found in Somerset and Dorset in 1066. He was granted a large number of Lordships by William the Conqueror. It is possible his name originated from a province in France.
